AlphaDrive International Privacy Notice

This AlphaDrive International Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) supplements the AlphaDrive Group Privacy Policy and explains how AlphaDrive Co., Ltd. (“AlphaDrive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information specifically in connection with the AlphaDrive International website and its inquiry functionality.

AlphaDrive International is a department / business name of AlphaDrive Co., Ltd. It is not a separate legal entity.

As a general rule, AlphaDrive’s handling of personal information is governed by the AlphaDrive Group Privacy Policy. This Notice provides more specific information about processing that is particular to AlphaDrive International.

If this Notice and the AlphaDrive Group Privacy Policy differ with respect to processing specific to AlphaDrive International, this Notice will apply to that processing to the extent permitted by applicable law. Where applicable law requires otherwise, the applicable law will control.

1. Information We Collect

The English and Korean AlphaDrive International inquiry forms may collect the following information:

• your name;
• company name;
• email address;
• the content of your inquiry;
• the language / locale you are using;
• information about the page from which the inquiry was submitted;
• information required to detect obvious spam or abusive submissions;
• an inquiry ID generated by our system; and
• the time at which the inquiry is received.

Our AlphaDrive International application does not send your IP address or user agent to Slack as part of the inquiry record. However, hosting and infrastructure providers may process network and log information as necessary to provide, secure, and operate their services.

For Japanese-language inquiries, the International site directs users to AlphaDrive’s main Japanese contact page at https://alphadrive.co.jp/contact/. AlphaDrive International does not collect the content of that Japanese inquiry before the redirect.

2. How We Use Inquiry Information

Information submitted through the English or Korean AlphaDrive International inquiry form is used only for the following purposes:

1. reviewing and responding to your inquiry;
2. internal coordination necessary to handle your inquiry;
3. translating your inquiry so that our team can review it in Japanese;
4. detecting and preventing spam, misuse, or abusive submissions;
5. safely and properly operating the inquiry function; and
6. communicating with you as necessary in connection with your inquiry.

We do not use information submitted through the AlphaDrive International inquiry form for advertising, newsletters, event promotion, or other marketing purposes unless we separately obtain your explicit permission in the future.

3. How Inquiry Content Is Processed

When you submit an inquiry in English or Korean, the free-text message is translated into Japanese so that our team can review and handle the inquiry internally.

As a matter of our current implementation, only the inquiry message itself and the language information necessary for translation are sent to the translation service. Your name, email address, and company name are not sent as separate fields to the translation service.

However, if you include your name, phone number, email address, or other personal information within the free-text message itself, that information may be processed as part of the text submitted for translation. Please avoid including sensitive information or personal information about third parties unless it is necessary for us to respond to your inquiry.

After a successful submission, a receipt showing the submitted details is displayed in the currently open browser page. The receipt implementation does not place your name, company, email address, or message into the URL, cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or other persistent browser storage.

We do not send the name, company, email address, inquiry message, or other personal information entered into the Contact form as Google Analytics event data.

4. Service Providers We Use

We use the following external services to operate the AlphaDrive International website and handle inquiries.

Vercel

We use Vercel to host and deliver the website and to execute the server-side inquiry function. When an inquiry is submitted, the inquiry is processed on Vercel infrastructure.

Our application-level logs may record information such as inquiry ID, locale, processing result, and timing. Our current application implementation does not intentionally log the inquiry’s name, email address, company name, or message text.

Google Cloud Translation

We use Google Cloud Translation to translate English or Korean inquiry messages into Japanese. Under the current implementation, the translation request is limited in principle to the free-text inquiry message and language information required for translation. Name, email address, and company name are not sent as separate fields for translation.

Slack

We use Slack to share inquiry information internally and coordinate our response. Slack receives information including the inquiry ID, locale, company name, name, email address, original inquiry message, Japanese translation, translation status, source page, and received time.

Under the current AlphaDrive International implementation, Slack is the primary internal persistence and collaboration destination for English and Korean inquiries. We do not maintain a separate proprietary inquiry database for these submissions.

When we entrust personal information to service providers, we seek to select and oversee them appropriately in accordance with applicable law and our contractual requirements.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 ("Google Analytics") to understand how the AlphaDrive International website is used and to improve the website and our services.

Google Analytics is loaded only after you allow analytics. Before you grant permission, we do not load Google Analytics or send Analytics measurement data to Google.

When Google Analytics is enabled, information about website usage may be sent to Google, including pages viewed, visit times, language, browser and device information, approximate location information, and other interaction data. We do not send your name, email address, company name, inquiry message, or other personal information entered into our Contact form to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics 4 may use an IP address at collection time to derive location information and route data, but Google Analytics does not log or store the IP address.

We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing, or identifying individuals by combining Analytics data with Contact inquiry information.

5. International Processing and Transfers

Because AlphaDrive International uses cloud services such as Vercel, Google Cloud Translation, and Slack, inquiry information may be processed or stored outside Japan.

We will take measures required by applicable law when personal information is entrusted to, provided to, processed by, or stored with service providers located outside Japan. Please also refer to the AlphaDrive Group Privacy Policy for AlphaDrive’s general policy regarding foreign third parties and overseas storage / processing.

If you allow Google Analytics, website-usage information may be processed outside Japan through Google's infrastructure. We do not guarantee a specific processing country in this Notice.

6. Retention

We generally retain inquiry information for two years from the last substantive interaction for the purpose of responding to and following up on the inquiry. After that period, we delete it unless longer retention is required to comply with legal obligations, confirm legal rights or obligations, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Retention within external services may also be affected by the contracts, account settings, and operating policies applicable to those services.

7. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies

AlphaDrive International uses Google Analytics to understand website usage and improve the website.

After you allow analytics, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish visits and sessions from the same browser. We configure Analytics cookies for use only on this site and set their lifetime to 180 days.

We also use one necessary first-party cookie to remember whether you allowed or declined analytics. This cookie is not used for analytics itself; it is used only to remember your preference and is kept for 180 days.

Our Google Analytics 4 property is configured with a two-month retention setting for user-level and event-level data.

We do not use Google Signals, ads personalization, or user-provided data collection in Google Analytics. We do not link this Analytics implementation to Google Ads, use it for remarketing, or use it for advertising tracking.

You can allow or decline Google Analytics when the analytics preference panel first appears, and you can change your choice later using "Analytics settings" in the footer.

8. Third-Party Disclosures and Use Within the AlphaDrive Group

Except for processing by service providers as described in this Notice, disclosures permitted or required by law, disclosures necessary in connection with a permitted corporate transaction, or disclosures made with your consent, we do not disclose AlphaDrive International inquiry information to third parties.

Other sharing or joint use within the AlphaDrive Group is governed by the AlphaDrive Group Privacy Policy.

For information submitted through the AlphaDrive International inquiry form, however, this Notice limits our use to responding to and handling the relevant inquiry and related communications. Unless we separately obtain your explicit permission, we will not use that inquiry information within the AlphaDrive Group for advertising, newsletters, event promotion, or other marketing purposes.

9. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction or supplementation of, deletion of, restriction or suspension of use of, or cessation of certain disclosures of personal information held by us.

10. Users in Korea

Personal information relating to users in Korea will be handled in accordance with the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other applicable laws.

Where an inquiry from Korea results in personal information being transferred outside Korea, we will provide information required by applicable law, as appropriate, including the categories of transferred personal information, destination country, timing and method of transfer, name and contact information of the recipient, purpose of use, retention / use period, and how the individual may refuse the transfer and the consequences of refusal.

11. Users in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Other Jurisdictions

Where applicable data-protection law provides you with additional rights, we will address those rights in accordance with the applicable law.

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may apply to an organization established outside the EU in certain circumstances, including where the organization offers goods or services to individuals in the EU or monitors their behavior in the EU.

This Notice does not constitute a blanket representation that every AlphaDrive International activity is “GDPR compliant” in every jurisdiction. Where the GDPR or another extraterritorial data-protection law applies to specific processing, we will take the measures required by that law.

12. Security and Data Minimization

We seek to implement appropriate safeguards against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, destruction, alteration, or misuse of personal information, taking into account the nature and purposes of the processing.

The current AlphaDrive International inquiry architecture is designed to reduce unnecessary data handling. Among other measures, we do not maintain a separate proprietary inquiry database, we limit the data sent to the translation service in principle to the inquiry message, and our application logs are designed not to record the inquiry’s name, company, email address, or message text.

13. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Notice to reflect changes in AlphaDrive International’s processing activities, service providers, operations, or applicable law.

If a change is material, we will provide notice through the website or another appropriate method. Where applicable law requires consent for a change, we will follow the procedures required by that law.
